Not every project or production calls for the big camera. Perfect for smaller productions, web videos and viral messaging, the Sony XD Cam may be small, but it still produces a beautiful HD image.

Aeroflex II Super 16mm Camera Package:

While many agencies have completely switched over to HD only cameras, blue onion recognizes film looks incredible, and some productions just call for it.

HD and SD Color Grading

Whether it’s fine tuning something you’ve shot or giving your spot the look it needs, our million-dollar facility and experienced artists can give your commercials the style and color you want. And it’s all done right here.

HD and SD Offline and Online Edit

Your project starts in one of our Avid suites, where your editor will assemble the footage to tell your story. Then it’s on to Avid DS where the online editor adds design, effects and graphics to make your commercials pop. In the end you’ll walk out of the edit suite excited and amazed.  Oh, and did we mention the entire thing can be done in HD?

HD Final Cut Pro System

Sometimes productions and budgets don’t call for all the bells and whistles of Avid or Avid DS. That’s where Final Cut Pro can help. This editing system allows projects of all shapes and sizes to be finished on time, look great and come in under budget.

Film-to-Tape-Transfer

Shooting commercials on film requires extra steps, like film-to-tape transfer. We’ll take your 16 or 35mm film, transfer it to tape, color-correct and send it on to our edit suites.  This process would take weeks anywhere else, shipping the project from specialist to specialist. At blue onion, once your film is processed we can begin transfer right away.

Graphics and Animation

blue onion has graphic artists, designers and animators, as well as the latest in software to give your project the life it needs.

Sound Sweetening

Our audio engineers have the ability to record, mix music, add sound effects and do just about anything to your production’s audio.
